Paper Crowns

time to get crafty

My daughter is turning 4  soon. Planning for a simple kiddie party with lots of fun  and in an inexpensive way.  THe celebrant choses a princess theme party, with that in mind, i thought crowns would be fun for them to make and decorate with sparkly imbelishments that kids get to wear during fun time. How thrilled can she gets?

The crowns have evolved from plain paper to sparkly crowns. With sparkly embellishments using glittery nail polish, sequences, gem stickers which I never thought I had. Believe me I only bought the colored card paper and the rest I just found in my stash of tricks for Leila. And ohh, I bought the glittery stickers as well, I cant resist it when I passed by a stall in the mall.  That thing that they used to bling cellphones? Got some of it.

Designs
If you are looking to make some crowns for your kids Prince/Princess themed birthday party and wondering how I made it? Well, I didn't draw them! I got it from this website: First Palette.  I just printed them on the card paper and cut them out.  I decorated some for the late comers who won't have time to decorate during the party, but some of them I just left plain so they could have creative activity for those early birds.  Some designs are suitable also for Kings and Queens for the parents, and young prince and princess.  So a craft table would be provided at the party venue that says:

Welcome fellow Kings and Queens, Prince's and Princesses!  The royal family would like to spare their crowns to you today.  Have fun decorating your crowns with embellishments.  Fit them the crown into your head and secure it with a tape.  Enjoy and have fun and feel like royalty for a day!
